Strange Times

You know those days when nothing seems to make sense? I mean, you know how you got there, there's nothing illogical about how it all went down, and your mind still seems to be working properly. It's just that when you try to step back and take a look at the situation, it just doesn't feel right somehow?  That was today.

The combination of a zero day, not walking any significant distance, and the brief re-entry to normal society was simply too much for my spaced-out mind to handle. Walking into a natural food store with real parking lots and "normal" people felt abnormal and foreign. The crazy part is that I haven't even been gone that long, but I already have a hard time picturing myself returning to "normalcy".

All three of us feel ansy to get on the trail again, which will happily be taking place tomorrow.
