Captain's Log: Day 50 - Boston, MA

June 1, 2016

We woke up, cleaned up a outside Ed's place as he was getting ready, and these dropped Fred off with a slightly hungover Kelli. During the drive out of the valley to I5 we got an extensive history of the valley and a number of stories about coming of age there from Ed. He had quite a few good ones and the ride passed quickly.

To thank him for the ride, we took Ed to breakfast in Ashland then said goodbye at the Medford Budget. It felt strange to be in a rental car again so soon but we got over that quickly and listened to comedy sketches and more of the book from the last trip on the way up to Portland.

We dropped Loopy off at the bus station and then made for the airport. There was quite a bit of unexpected traffic on the way to the Budget location but we finally made it to airport, albeit a bit later than expected. We said goodbye before security - he on his way to LA again and me to Boston.
