Our host had left for work by the time we got up. Getting hungry, we headed to the supermarket to get breakfast supplies and then set to work cooking a good hearty breakfast. The rest of the day consisted of lounging by the pool in the backyard and playing with the dog.
As evening began to near we needed to make a call about whether we would stay or go. We decided that going and camping somewhere along the last stretch to Medford was the way to go and said our goodbyes and thank you's.
Dinner was a quick stop at an Olive Garden before getting back on I-5. With an audio book to pass the time, we were soon pulling in to the campsite. It was after dark but fortunately we didn't have to look hard to find a spot. As we settled in we were alerted to the railway bridge not far from the campsite. Ah well, at least this time they didn't blow their horns every time they passed.
