Captain's Log: Day 35 - USC
May 17, 2016
Yesterday had been a day or rest (sort of). Today was a day of food.
We began with breakfast sandwiches and donuts. We took a brief break to stop by the post office and mail gear ahead or home as well as a thrift shop to find a duffel bag suitable for checking a backpack in (bag checks are notorious for destroying loose buckles, ripping the outer pockets and mesh, and tearing off shoulder straps).
After the post office and thrift shop it was on to Dirt Dog, a fancy hot dog place, followed immediately by a Mexican street shop. From here we split up with Eeyore heading to a diner and Rickets and I heading to convenience store.
While Eeyore hung out at the diner reading/writing Rickets and I picked up snacks and beer and went back to the fraternity house to hang out until Ricket's friend, Chris, got off work. Once Chris had arrived we went back out to the diner for diner and then all fell asleep almost immediately.
