Captain's Log: Day 22 - Mile 465.6

Even with the late night I was still up at 5:30am. The priorities for the morning were making sure enough food had in fact been purchased in the rush the night before and charging up devices. The rest of the group began waking up and gathering at the round table and taking care of their last odds and ends as well.

The large collection of dogs worked their magic, however, and we ended up sticking around until after the heat of the day. After lunch in town we hit the road at 2:40pm. This was very literally hitting the road with a 2 mile road walk section of trail.

It was a long up to water followed by a short down to camp next to a road. The sky was clear and all except Rickets, not wanting to deal with mosquitos, decided to cowboy camp
